Suelette Dreyfus
Dr Suelette Dreyfus is the Executive Director of Blueprint for Free Speech. Suelette’s career has spanned academia, journalism and advocacy. She is a specialist in cybersecurity technologies and in integrity systems that work as corrective mechanisms in society.
Suelette founded Blueprint in 2014 with a view to improving the standards of laws and practice around the globe that protect freedom of expression. Her specific work at Blueprint is to raise the standards of protection for whistleblowers. She also works on projects to protect the media’s ability to publish freely, particularly via the internet, and on the creation of new technology to achieve these goals.
Naomi Colvin
Naomi Colvin is UK/Ireland/Belgium Program Director at Blueprint. She has a particular interests in whistleblowing as a freedom of expression issue and the intersection of digitally-mediated whistleblowing with the criminal law. Before coming to Blueprint, Naomi ran high-profile advocacy campaigns in this area.
Naomi holds a Master's Degree in European Political Economy and an undergraduate degree in Russian Studies, both from the London School of Economics.

Philipp Wissing
Philipp Wissing is our Germany Coordinator for the PATFox Project (Pioneering anti-SLAPP Training for Freedom of Expression).
Philipp studied at LMU Munich and SciencesPo Paris. He is passionate about strategic organizing and building the PATFox project across 11 countries. He is also part of the executive team of a Munich based association aimed at supporting young progressive initiatives.

Bruno Galizzi
Originally from Argentina, Bruno is a Research and Assessment Fellow at Blueprint for Free Speech. Driven by a specific interest in methodology and research, he pursued a Sociology Degree at Buenos Aires University. He has expertise in statistical analysis of public opinion polling, and has previously worked in this area for an international market research company.
He is currently campaigning to foster whistleblower protection in Mexico and Spain for Blueprint.

Veronika Nad
Veronika Nad is our Project Manager. A trained Anthropologist with a Masters from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, she has conducted field research in India and Tanzania prior to working on anti-corruption measures, whistleblowing and transparency since 2013.
Veronika is particularly interested in questions regarding the adoption and implications of whistleblowing schemes in different socio-cultural contexts, and has done extensive research on the state of whistleblower protection in Europe.

Chris Culnane
Dr Chris Culnane is Security and Privacy Project Adviser at Blueprint.
With more than a decade of practical and research experience, Chris brings expertise in designing, building and analysing tech projects that ensure privacy and security. He was one of the first researchers to do an openly published detailed technical analysis of the Australian and British COVID-19 notification apps to assess the impact on end-users’ personal privacy and security.
He has PhD in Computer Science from the University of Surrey.
Andy Dabilis
Andy is Blueprint’s journalist in Greece. He previously worked as a columnist and European Affairs Editor for New Europe in Athens and Brussels, a contributor to Southeast European Times, an Assistant Metropolitan Editor for The Boston Globe and New England Editor for the international wire service UPI. As Blueprint’s investigative journalist, he routinely investigates and reports on stories related to both corruption and media freedom.
Richard
Richard is our Lead Software Engineer currently working on modernizing the Ricochet instant messenger. They have many years experience developing cross-platform applications in C and C++. They think a lot about how to build systems which are both usable as well as security and privacy preserving by default. They have extensive work experience with The Tor Project, and have previously worked as a software development engineer II at Microsoft.

Eleanor
Blueprint’s Cryptography Honorary Fellow, Eleanor is a research student actively involved in security and privacy, and an experienced software engineer who is applying their knowledge in practice. Their focus is on applied cryptography, with a particular interest in understanding subtle assumptions needed for protocols to work correctly.
They believe the theoretical tools we need to safeguard privacy already exist — so let's get on with it
They are passionate about videogames, karate, cats, and food.

Aris Danikas
Aristeidis Danikas is an Honorary Fellow at Blueprint. He is a specialist in hardware electronics, as well as being a human rights activist. With expertise in examination of digital evidence, criminal investigations, and methods used to manipulate evidence, Aris briefs Blueprint on a range of whistleblower and human rights cases. He actively campaigns against human rights abuse and torture cases in Africa. He also conducts advocacy for freedom of the press cases for Blueprint in Greece.

Cannelle Lavite
Cannelle Lavite is an Honorary Legal Fellow. She holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Criminal Business Law (double diploma) from the University of Toulouse Capitole I (France) and the University of Montreal (Quebec), and a Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Services from University La Sorbonne. She is completing a PhD at Bremen University. Her PhD thesis work focuses on new forms of law production in the frame of whistleblowers’ protection.
She has deep legal expertise in whistleblowing (particularly in Luxembourg, France and Belgium) as well as both criminal and corporate law.

Simon Wolfe
Simon Wolfe is an Honorary Legal Research Fellow. He graduated with an LL.B from the University of Melbourne and an LL.M from Stockholm University.
Simon has a background in both freedom of speech law and policy and commercial law. He has significant experience in whistleblower protection law, national security legislation and freedom of expression policy generally.
He has authored many reports and submissions on behalf of Blueprint for Free Speech and has appeared before parliaments or legislative committees on behalf of Blueprint in Australia, Iceland and Taiwan, and submitted to many others. Prior to joining Blueprint, Simon worked at a commercial law firm in Australia, and spent time working in France and Tanzania.

Liudmyla Tiahnyriadno
Liudmyla is an Honorary Journalism Fellow advising Blueprint’s whistleblower protection initiatives in Ukraine.
She has a Master of Public Administration and Administration degree and has been working in journalism since 2010, including as editor, investigative journalist, news anchor and presenter with Ukraine’s Public Broadcasting Company.

Ilva Letoja
llva is an Honorary Fellow, providing insights to Blueprint into organisational growth by drawing on her expertise as an operations manager. llva has over 8 years of experience in the international development sector, working in charities both in Europe and the USA.

Gulliver, Blueprint Resident Cat
Regal with a big ego, Gulliver plays the haughty-aloof game well. He’s bilingual in German and English, and enjoys correcting homework with the flick of a paw.

Poseidon is fluffy, cuddly, and always hungry. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed but the overexcitable purring and absurd floof makes him one of the best companions one could hope for.
