Data privacy activists are calling for a National Day of Action against Metadata, as the new proposed Data Retention Legislation makes its way through the senate.

Everyone who is concerned about the implications of metadata retention is urged to email, phone, tweet, facebook or otherwise contact politicians on Wednesday 25th March, 12 noon AEDT

The Stop Data Retention campaign provides easy links to email, phone and social media details of your senators.

Thirty-eight votes are needed in the Senate in order to halt this intrusive legislation.
