Blueprint publishes OpEd on whistleblowing and COVID-19 in Spanish media

Blueprint for Free Speech has published an opinion piece in the Spanish media outlet Infolibre, drawing the link between COVID-19 and the need to protect workers and citizens blowing the whistle - especially in the health sector.  The article also calls for all political parties in Spain, which has no proper legislation into place, to act with conviction and responsibility on national transposition of the EU Directive. 

“In a bitter irony, Spain is one of the countries hardest hit by the coronavirus and, at the same time, one of the few countries in the European Union that does not have a national law to protect whistleblowers.”
